Holes in concrete, brick, block and natural stone from 6mm to 1000mm diameter can be achieved, to any depth you require; we have successfully drilled a depth of 18 metres (across a concrete motorway flyover). Diamond drilling is suitable for an endless number of applications, we supply our services throughout all sectors of the construction industry. The holes achieved are perfect for environmental core testing, surface water drainage, electrical and plumbing conduits, ducting and air conditioning and installing anchor bolts (which we can also supply and fit)

Diamond drilled holes are very accurate and result in clean smooth sided holes and are virtually dust and vibration free.

Holes are drilled horizontal, vertical or at an angle with diamond tipped barrels attached to a drill motor and can be hand held or mounted to a rig. Water is used during the drilling process, water will be controlled where the environment cannot be contaminated with water. We have carried out diamond drilling in laboratories and even the IMAX cinema, both of which required strict water control. We have engineered our own water control device where the strictest of water control is required.

Stitch drilling is perfect for where a saw cannot be employed to create an opening or remove a structure or the opening is irregular shaped. Stitch drilling is carried out in a controlled method by diamond drilling a series of interlinked holes to enable the wall, opening or structure to be removed.

Our success and experience is proven; we drilled up to 18m within strict tolerances on Highways Agency contracts on the Chiswick Flyover, London and 16.4m on the M60 Palatine Bridge, Manchester

UK Drillers has been established since 1991 and we have undertaken many drilling contracts that require holes at depths of up to 18 metres deep with accuracy so that the hole exits within the tolerances required to avoid damage to vital structural reinforcement bars. This typically has been achieved in the drilling of bridge and flyover structures for Cathodic systems to be installed to prevent corrosion to reinforcement.

We have designed our equipment to ensure accuracy and we have achieved 1.23mm per metre drilled laterally and typically 3.7mm horizontally. Normally the hole will arc downwards due to gravity.

These tolerances have been celebrated as a success as they are well within the tolerances that we have been asked to work to.

We have documented evidence of accuracy for M4 Chiswick flyover crossheads 18m deep in 2010 and M60 Palatine Bridge 16.4m deep in 2019 with satisfaction from the Highways Agency.

We would be pleased to discuss any projects that you may have and give you the confidence that you require.
To our knowledge we are the only drilling contractor equipped to offer this.

This type of work is known under a range of different terms, all use the same method and equipment – Concrete cutting, concrete sawing, floor sawing and diamond sawing.

Our saws cut up to 600mm deep, this system consists of a circular blade mounted on a spindle, the blades are protected by a guard. Our petrol, diesel and 3phase electric floor saws mean we can achieve cuts indoors too without the need for ventilation.

This is a quick, clean and efficient method of creating uniform cuts in reinforced concrete or tarmac. A whole host of applications to cut flat surfaces such as concrete slabs, roads, pavements, bridges and car parks, drainage channels, cable duct channels etc.

Structures typically concrete, can be removed or altered by cutting and breaking it out. We provide a full cut and break out service.

Our saws cut up to 750mm deep. A circular cutting disc is attached to a spindle and is powered by an electric motor which allows cutting to take place indoors without the need for ventilation.

This is a quick, clean and efficient method of creating uniform cuts for a whole host of reasons; including removing wall sections for doors and windows, increasing existing opening sizes, removal of entire wall sections, creating channels for conduits for services etc. Where work consists of structural work we are able to install supporting lintels as part of our service or work in conjunction with our clients structural contractor where required.

A chase is a channel that is formed using a chasing machine in walls, floors or ceilings. The chase is them broken out using a small hand held breaker. Chases are usually created to allow services such as electrical conduits to be recessed into the wall or floor so that they are hidden but can also be used for other applications too.

Precise, neat channels are cut into reinforced concrete or all types of brickwork walls and structures. Channels are typically formed up to a depth of 40mm although 50mm can be achieved. Our machines have a dust collection system that can be fitted where required, allowing a dust free environment to be maintained.

Often where chasing work is required our clients also require boxes to be formed for new electrical outlets, we can carry both for you when required.

We will drill and install the fixings as part of our service. Indeed, for most applications should a client require it we are able to supply the fixings too. We will drill all the holes you need for fixings, should you wish us to install and even supply them we will give you a fixed rate for the works.

Our expert diamond drillers carry out the work quickly and efficiently and most importantly for fixing work with complete accuracy. We are able to liaise with your structural engineers or structural installation team on site if required, taking the hassle away from you.

Fixings are required for a huge range of applications such as securing heavy machinery, installing floor plates for steel/other structures and much more.
